What you will do in your working day

  • Comply with RSE’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems
  • Dismantle and re-assemble mechanical assemblies
  • Inspect equipment and identify faulty components
  • Ensure quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures are adhered to
  • Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment
  • Assist other disciplines when required
  • Ensure safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to a high and safe standard
  • Accurately record man-hours
  • Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set

The training you will be getting

  • Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • One day in college, Luckyn Lane Campus, Basildon
