What you will do in your working day
- Comply with RSE’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems
- Dismantle and re-assemble mechanical assemblies
- Inspect equipment and identify faulty components
- Ensure quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures are adhered to
- Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment
- Assist other disciplines when required
- Ensure safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment
- Ensure equipment is maintained to a high and safe standard
- Accurately record man-hours
- Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set
The training you will be getting
- Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- One day in college, Luckyn Lane Campus, Basildon
