What you will do in your working day

  • Shampooing
  • Removing colours
  • Preparing tools & products for services.
  • Greeting clients, making refreshments, reception duties, answering the telephone, making booking appointments, housekeeping, cleaning and laundry.
  • Learning & practising blow drying, colouring hair, cutting hair.
  • Attending in house salon training and Academy training.

The training you will be getting

  • You will be working towards your Level 2 Hairdressing Professional qualification.
  • You may also need to work towards Level 2 maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Apprentice must be able to make their own travel arrangements  to attend HOET academy in Leicester.

Apprentice must be able to make their own travel arrangements to attend college in Leicester. They must also live reasonably close to the salon in Ibstock and be able to make their own travel arrangements to the salon. No sick pay
