    Monday - Friday, either a 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am - 6.00pm day at the nursery, we are open all year (not school hours / times). 35 hours per week. Exact shifts to be confirmed.

What you will do in your working day

We provide a high standard of care, learning and play in line with the EYFS.

The position will include:

  • Learning about Key Person responsibilities
  • Planning, observation and assessment using Tapestry (online development journal)
  • Learning how to set up resources and activities in a way that is stimulating and excitingly presented for children.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
  • End Point Assessment - Knowledge Test and Professional
  • Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Progression onto the Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • A potential career in early years.
