What you will do in your working day

Gain experience and training necessary to qualify as a paralegal within the commercial property field via the Paralegal Apprenticeship, then progress to gain experience and training necessary to gain an LLB degree and qualify as a solicitor within the commercial property field via the Solicitor Apprenticeship.

Main Duties:

  • Shadowing and working with solicitors including partners of the firm
  • Legal research
  • Assisting administrative and compliance processes such as opening files and onboarding of clients
  • Drafting, negotiating and amending legal documents
  • Communicating with clients and other contacts such as agents, lawyers, lenders
  • Handling legal exchange of contracts and completions of transactions
  • Property due diligence – title issues, searches, raising enquiries
  • Providing tailored legal advice to a diverse range of clients
  • Post-completion administration including submission of Stamp Duty Land Tax, applications to HM Land Registry
