What you will do in your working day

As an Apprentice Nursery Nurse you will play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.  Your work-based training with our in-house Training Academy will support you to develop an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which will enable you to deliver effective opportunities for learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old.

The training you will be getting

  • We are offering the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
  • The apprenticeship will last 12-20 months.  You will have time each week to complete some of your coursework in your working hours and the rest you will complete at home.
  • You will attend monthly training sessions at our Head Office in Newport Pagnell. 
  • If you don’t hold GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English and Maths, you will complete Functional Skills qualifications too.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon completion, you will have the opportunity to apply for Qualified Nursery Nurse roles within our partnership.
