What you will do in your working day

  • Deliver sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study
  • Deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods
  • Plan programmes of engaging and innovative activities using sport and physical activity

The training you will be getting

  • Community activator coach
  • We are really excited to offer our NEW DL Kids Coach apprenticeship programme based on the Community Activator Coach standard to support and development our teams here at David Lloyd Clubs
  • The training program will consist of online learning, webinars, classroom sessions and workplace visits, on completion of the program you will achieve a Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification
  • This development programme will provide you with a range of skills including coaching sport & physical activities, preparing and delivering sessions, motivation and getting people active, working with our member community to drive engagement
  • This programme also includes a Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults & a Level 2 Award in Multi Sports
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
