What you will do in your working day

Session Support:

  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging tuition sessions.     
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students as needed.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  Resource Management:

  • Organise and prepare teaching materials.
  • Ensure that resources are readily available for teachers and students. Printing and organising resources for sessions.
  • Assist in the setup and organisation of classroom activities. 

Student Interaction:

  • Build positive relationships with students to foster a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Offer additional support to students who may require it.

Supervise and support students during break times and extracurricular activities.
 

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist in record-keeping, including attendance and progress reports.
  • Help with administrative tasks related to lesson planning and organisation.

  Professional Development:

  • Actively participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers to enhance teaching skills.
     
  • In addition to this we are looking for someone who can collaborate with teaching staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Assist learners in overcoming educational challenges and facilitate their academic progress.
  • Provide individualised support to learners with specific needs, ensuring inclusivity.
  • Foster a caring, patient, and compassionate atmosphere within the learning community.

The training you will be getting

  • The successful candiadate will work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification.

  • To be discussed on completion of apprenticeship.
