What you will do in your working day

To assist and support the department in:

• Operational needs in coordinating materials, shipping/receiving of orders, quality control, inventory control and other warehouse / procurement related duties in conjunction with the Logistics Controller
• The receipt, identification, recording, storage, and issue of all materials.
• The co-ordination of all materials to ensure they are moved, stored, and segregated correctly in the warehouse.
• The processing of Goods-In, including QC Inspections
• The stock verification process and the periodic physical cycle count activities
• The expedition of materials and services in support of accurate and timely deliveries
• Achieving the operational objectives set out in production plans and indicators (KPIs)
• Supporting continuous improvements on the job, developing and building on existing processes to improve production flow, achieve timelines and inventory integrity.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Programme:

  • Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College
  • Functional Skills in maths and English may be required
  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification
