Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with a 1 hour lunch break at 1.00pm. You would often be expected to work outside of these hours for the satisfactory performance of your duties

What you will do in your working day
- Researching and liaising with potential vendors
- Obtaining and comparing pricing from suppliers
- Negotiating on price and terms of business
- Preparing quotations for customers
- Placing and handling purchase orders
- Track and progress orders to meet customer delivery dates
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure the quality of goods and deliveries are met on time
You will develop an understanding of:
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- General customer service-related duties
The training you will be getting
- The Apprentice will be working towards the Commercial Procurement & Supply Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard
- The apprentice will also complete a Level 4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
- Bi-weekly classroom attendance at Colchester Institute to complete 8 units (total of 4 sessions per unit)
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Qualification in Procurement and Supply, there are lots of opportunities within our expanding company to progress into a full-time role within Quinta Raddison Ltd for the right candidate
- CIPS L4 is a pre-requisite for MCIPS (L6) and the full professional licence and offers the potential for Chartered status
