What you will do in your working day

As a Degree Apprentice at ASMPT, you will gain a good appreciation of the Company as a whole, and the operation of its main departments by undertaking a comprehensive range of work placements and project work. 

Typically you will be involved in:

  • Team/project meetings, contributing towards design and development decisions
  • Contributing to design reviews, critically reviewing yours and colleagues' designs to ensure fit for purpose
  • Supporting peers, imparting your knowledge to others in the business

The training you will be getting

  • Day release to the University of the West of England, leading to Manufacturing Engineer (degree) level 6

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Once qualified there is potential for you to continue your career at ASMPT
