What you will do in your working day

The aim of this role is to support our small but busy administration team whose main function focusses around onboarding new staff carrying out a a range of HR related functions.  Some of your duties you will be trained to complete are:

  • Screening and vetting candidates and carrying out right to work checks and job offers
  • Dealing with incoming calls and emails, responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Administering training for new recruits
  • Using internal IT system ( ALMAS) with full training provided
  • Supporting with HR related administration tasks
  • Process DBS checks

The training you will be getting

  • During this apprenticeship you will work towards the Business Administrator Level 3 standard.
  • You will have a dedicated Development Coach, who will visit you on a 1-1 basis each month.
  • You will attend a series of online workshop sessions
  • If needed you will also work towards functional skills in Maths and English at level 2 if you haven't achieved the equivalent GCSEs.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Progression includes a full time position within the company with the option to gain higher level HR qualifications

Things to consider

Due to a large volume of contracts in the Manchester area, you may be expected to travel with your colleagues to support with external recruitment and onboarding events. ( This will be supported by your employer). To meet front line licensing regulations you must be aged at least 18 to apply for this role
