    Due to the nature of the hospitality environment, shifts will be varied and will include breakfast shifts, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Weekend work will be included. 2 days off will be provided each week.

What you will do in your working day

  • Setting tables ready for service
  • Taking customer orders for food and drink
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Serving food and drink
  • Clearing tables inbetween courses
  • Working with the wider team to set up for functions and events
  • Maintaining restaurant and bar stock levels

The training you will be getting

  • You will working towards the achievement of the Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship qualification
  • Training is work based and delivered on site at the employers premises with the option to attend off site 1 to 1 focused sessions as required
  • Training frequency is conducted during 1/2 day sessions every 3 weeks with directed work place training being conducted in between which is evidenced through a portfolio of learning.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon achievement of this apprenticeship you can progress to Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor with a further available progression to a Level 4 Management programme.
  • You may alternatively wish to look at opportunities within the kitchen and commence on a Chef route.
