What you will do in your working day

  • Supporting the deputy and play leader
  • Work towards being a key person and have a small group of children allocated
  • Responsible for all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing,  toileting, helping at snack and mealtimes
  • Organising activities and setting up the day
  • Undertake all aspects of housekeeping 
  • Supporting the children with learning and play
  • Assisting with learning journals

The training you will be getting

  • Early Years Educator Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Paediatric first aid qualification
  • All training will be carried out through the setting where you will be assigned an Assesor who will visit you at the nursery
