What you will do in your working day

Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Answering telephone and directing calls.
  • Dealing with emails.
  • Dealing with post.
  • Filing, photocopying and scanning.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate computerised and manual filing systems.
  • Assisting with management of stock.
  • PA support to Office Manager and Director.
  • Admin support to Engineers.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and updating their information.
  • Preparing and producing letters and emails.
  • Dealing with suppliers and supplier invoices.
  • Using social media.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy office environment.
  • Any other duties deemed suitable to the post.

The training you will be getting

  • Business Administrator apprenticeship (level 3).
  • Training will take place one day per week during term time at Grantham College, Stonebridge Road, NG31 9AP.
  • Additional training will include software specific training and team building.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Permanent position for the right candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.

About the employer

We are a family-run business providing gas and oil heating and plumbing services to Grantham and the surrounding area. Our engineers install, maintain and repair gas and oil appliances, working with private customers, landlords and letting agents.
