They will become part of a team that provides careers support to 16–18-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling training and employment opportunities.

What you will do in your working day

You will join our team in the work that we do across the city and support the team working alongside colleagues in partner organisations to help improve outcomes for young people. This will involve direct contact with young people, their parents/carers, and a range of professionals from support services, training providers and employers across the city, so excellent communication skills are essential, as are effective time management and the ability to travel independently.

  • Answering calls / emails
  • General customer service 
  • Data entry
  • Booking/rearranging appointments for advisors
  • Updating social media 

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship standard

All training will be delivered within the workplace, the succesful applicant will be allocated 6 hours per week to complete assessor visits/coursework/project work etc. You will be paid for your time spent learning.
