What you will do in your working day

  • Work alongside dentist and hygienist – completing dental treatment and providing clinical chairside support.
  • Decontamination of instruments.
  • R4 computer program and reception duties.
  • Admin tasks.
  • Stock control in the practice and surgery.
  • Ensure CQC requirements are met.
  • Update patient records - digitally held.
  • Willingness to provide exceptional patient care.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Dental Nurse (Integrated) Apprenticeship Standard
  • Day release at Middlesbrough College
  • On and off-the-job training 
  • You will achieve a Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

  • Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.
