What you will do in your working day

A growing Winchester-based marketing company is looking for an apprentice marketing assistant to support our team on client and inhouse projects!

This is a full-time role and ideal for someone looking to develop a career in marketing. The role will give you good exposure across the broad spectrum of marketing disciplines.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with great organisational skills, good writing ability and comfortable with social media, who is looking for an opportunity to develop their marketing expertise, experience and knowledge, whilst becoming an important member of the team.

The role will involve a variety of marketing tasks, including:

  • Market research
  • Data building and use of IT systems (CRM)
  • Content writing and Blog writing
  • E-marketing campaigns
  • Social media management and use of various platforms
  • SEO & Pay-Per-Click advertising
  • Website updates
  • Supporting the Account Managers with ad hoc tasks (very exciting!)

Applicants are required to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and will be required to use a variety of CRM software, website Content Management Systems and marketing tools, which they will receive training on.


Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability. TLC Business and Boom Training will provide guidance and support to ensure successful completion of your apprenticeship studies.

The training you will be getting

L3 Multi-channel Marketing Standard, which includes:

  • Study modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Finance
  • You'll have a personal assessor to guide you through your training
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your assessor every 2/3 weeks
  • Occasional group classes with other learners
  • Functional Skills English and Maths if required
  • End Point Assessment (online)
  • You'll study all aspects of Marketing including SEO, Strategy, Data Analytics, AI, PPC, Social Media, Campaigns and much more!!

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

We hope that the apprentice continues with us in a full time Marketing Assistant role on completing their apprenticeship.

£22,500 per annum.

Additional training in areas where the apprentice wishes to focus are available too.
