What you will do in your working day

  • Processing of parking, speeding, and penalty fines
  • Coordination of the delivery of new vehicles and the return of end-of-lease vehicles
  • Monitoring when MOTs are due, follow up to ensure compliance
  • Assisting with the management of accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring timely collection and return by insurers
  • Arranging for rental vehicles when needed, such as for new hires or while a vehicle is being repaired
  • Issuing and replacing fuel cards as necessary
  • Facilitate driving license checks for new hires and annually for existing drivers
  • Helping with any fleet-related enquiries via phone and email, escalating when needed
  • Coordinating tracker installations and removals
  • Regularly review and update the MID database, adding or removing vehicles as needed
  • Assisting the Fleet Manager with ongoing fleet projects and the implementation of new processes
  • Monitor the department mailbox and respond to queries
  • Ensuring vehicle and health and safety checks are undertaken

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard:

  • The successful applicant will be allocated with an assessor who will visit them in the workplace once every 6-8 weeks
