For our Business Administrator Apprenticeship, we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person, who will provide administrative support to our Hearcare customers and working as part of our Hearcare team. Based at our Guildford and it's spoke stores, you will be supporting the Specsavers store director, audiologists and hearing aid dispensers.

    £17,000.00

    Minimum annual wage of £17,000 or minimum wage for your age, whichever is higher.

  • Working week

    Working hours to be worked during store opening times and may include 1 day at the weekend. With 45 mins lunch per day. Store opening times are: 8.30am to 7.00pm, Monday to Saturdays. 9.00am to 5.00pm, Sundays.

What you will do in your working day

  • Assist in arranging and confirming clinics
  • Process with any credits and deal with repairs 
  • Deal directly with manufacturers 
  • Process patient referrals
  • Assist with monthly stock take
  • Take minutes at the monthly team meeting
  • Ordering of hearing aids
  • Answer customer telephone calls

The training you will be getting

  • With on-the-job training from the employer the apprentice will work towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification and Functional Skills in English and maths at Level 2, if required.
  • Training can be delivered remotely or at the workplace every four weeks. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • At the end of the apprenticeship, the successful apprentice may be considered for a fulltime position.
