What you will do in your working day

Nursery Childcare apprentice role and responsibilities:

Provide the children with safe, secure and home-like environments
Operate a key worker system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff.
Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of individual children and allocated age groups.
Work as part of a highly qualified, motivated and professional team
Must be over 16 years of age in addition, you will need to be flexible and creative, with the commitment to provide first class childcare.

The training you will be getting

Early years educatorApprenticheship Standard including;

  • NCFE CACHE Level 3 Early Years Diploma
  • Paediatric First aid Qualification
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required 
  • You will be learning on site throughout your working hours.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Apprentices can continue education to go on to complete a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner. They can progress to further their careers in management and senior practitioner roles.
