Reporting into the Components Engineering & Technical Manager, The Apprentice will learn from an experienced, mechanical engineer whilst supporting the team to ensure the smooth running and operation of our manufacturing plant. You will undertake and complete an advance apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance engineering with an outside provider.

What you will do in your working day
- Work alongside a skilled Mechanical Engineer
- Assist with maintaining existing plant equipment, through reactive and planned maintenance
- Fault finding and carrying out repairs during breakdowns
- Assist with modifications of current machinery
- Assist with new installations of machinery
The training you will be getting
- As an Apprentice you will work towards the Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
- The Apprenticeship will be based at Printworks Campus.
- Delivery model will be one day per week in college.
