Clarke Group Construction is looking for two Apprentice Carpenter/Joiners to join their experienced team. Our program offers a combination of classroom-based learning and practical experience. You will learn industry-recognised skills from experienced professionals. Training will begin in September at Lincoln College.

What you will do in your working day

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Measuring, marking up, cutting, shaping, fitting, and finishing timber
  • May be asked to assist in other areas of the site (i.e. cleaning and general labouring)
  • Learning off senior tradesmen/learning all aspects of carpentry/joinery

We offer a broad range of construction industry experience and are constantly dedicated to learning and development.

The training you will be getting

The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 and Functional Skills (if required). 

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

Full-time employment, could progress into Site Management.
