What you will do in your working day

  • To deal with telephone enquiries, taking and conveying messages appropriately
  • To sort incoming emails and prepare outgoing emails.
  • Make appointments and, give non-clinical advice as directed, taking necessary action for the call to be handled as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Liaise regularly with Primary care staff, Clinicians and GP surgeries to ensure swift information is transferred and patients are dealt with efficiently.
  • Maintain an up to date filing and archive filing system, according to PCN Policy.

The training you will be getting

  • You will achieve the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
  • There are workshops that you will need to attend via Zoom.
  • You will have a mentor who will work with you on a one to one basis.
  • In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There will be ongoing training and development for the right candidate upon completion of their apprenticeship.
