What you will do in your working day

• Hourly wage • £6.40 - £11.44 (National Minimum Wage for your age) Statutory Sick and Holiday Pay + Bank Holiday Pay, automatic enrolment into the NEST Pension Scheme, Apprenticeship Oyster Card available for first year travel discounts, TOTUM Discount Cards, course costs covered by Evolve.

• Working week Monday-Friday, weekends may be an option. Minimum of 35 hours per week but potential for more. Approx. 8am-4pm but hours will be confirmed by contractor after successfully passing the Stage 1 & 2 Interview.

• Apprenticeship level - Advanced Level Apprenticeship - Level 3

What will the apprentice be doing?
Providing support to civil engineers in the design, construction, and management of a variety of projects. Preparing detailed building plans. Surveying sites and arranging for soil and rock samples to be analysed.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The qualification you would be working to is the Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician (Standard). This training will mainly be through remote learning with a paid study time as needed up to 7 hours/1 day per week. You are expected to travel when necessary though most assessments will be done on site. You will be responsible to managing/arranging with your line manager.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion of this apprenticeship, you can work as a qualified Civil Engineer where, with more experience, you can look to progress into a senior position, management, self-employment, or business owner. ________________________________________ Requirements and prospects

The training you will be getting

Apprentices will study a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Civil Engineering (603/1217/8),  delivery location of training to be confirmed. This training will mainly be through remote learning with a paid study time as needed up to 7 hours/1 day per week

Those without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.
