What you will do in your working day

Social Media Management:

  • Create and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with the online community.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content.


Content Creation:

  • Develop and write compelling content for the company's website, blog, and other digital channels.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for content creation.


Email Marketing:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and design email templates.
  • Analyse email campaign performance and suggest improvements.


SEO (Search Engine Optimization):

  • Work on optimizing website content for search engines.
  • Monitor and report on key SEO metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes.


Digital Advertising:

  • Support in the creation and management of digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyse ad performance, providing recommendations for optimization.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators.
  • Generate regular reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.


Learning and Development:

  • Actively participate in training programs to enhance digital marketing skills.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.

The training you will be getting

Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship standard.

Face to face training sessions will be delivered from the state-of-the-art EMA training hub on Siddals Road, central Derby.

The 3 core knowledge units are as follows:

  • Fundamentals of Marketing
  • Content Marketing
  • Marketing Campaign Fundamentals 

In addition to the modules above, you will also study towards the Google Analytics vendor qualification.

Further support will be provided to you through your Digital Coach/Mentor via onsite visits and remote communication.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

This role provides the opportunity to become the group marketing manager in the fullness of time, overseeing the other marketing functions and activities across the group of companies and managing future digital marketing apprentices / executives. The additional training and development, along with potential level 4 or 5 apprenticeships to facilitate this growth, will be provided for the right candidate.
