You will be reporting to our Financial Director and will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of financial operations. You will support this through building relationships with our internal and external clients and tutors.

What you will do in your working day

Apprentice duties will include:

  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Handling discrepancies from tutors and customers
  • Support Finance Director in preparing monthly management accounts
  • Process PO’s

The training you will be getting

Candidates will study day release at East Surrey College.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship candidates will gain the following qualifications:

  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
  • Level 2 Finance or Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship Standard

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to become a full-time member of staff and candidates can progress onto the level 3 AAT Apprenticeship.

About the employer

We are a tutoring company, mainly supporting SEN pupils, for Local Authorities and schools, across the country. We also provide private tutoring services. We are a small team who work closely together but also have fun. Our growth plans are ambitious, so there will be plenty of opportunities within the company in the long term.
