What you will do in your working day

As an Apprentice on the managment programme, you will play a key part in supporting the day to day running of the department, serving outstanding food in order to provide a superb dining experience for our guests at any time of the day. Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for the mise en place
  • Keeping up the high standards in the restaurant and bar
  • Presenting dishes to high standard levels
  • Knowledge of menus 

This is a full time role in the team and you will be under supervision of experienced managers.

The training you will be getting

  • You will complete a Level 2 Hospitality Apprenticeship Standard with Lifetime training; lots of training opportunities on the job, online training and classroom training to enable you to reach your full potential.
  • Once completed you will move into the next stage of your managment programme which will be working in the reception and housekeeping departments.
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • The next step could be as a supervisor, or you might want to move to another department.
  • There are lots of opportunities to continue with an apprenticeship, level 3 and level 4.
