Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You will be learning the skills knowledge and behaviours to achieve the Prototype/Design pathway within the Level 3 Engineering Technician;
Engineering technician / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
This will be delivered as 3 days in College (during term time) and then the remainder of the working week will be in the workplace. The hours will be 9.00am - 4.00pm during College days and then the workplace setting hours will be 8.30 am to 5.00pm (half hour unpaid unpaid lunch.)

Techni is a Design, Development and Manufacturing specialist for the mobile refrigeration and air compressor industry who distribute globally through our international companies in the UK, Spain and USA. We have been running for 13 years and have experienced a period of growth over the last few years. We are very friendly and supportive, have casual dress and a relaxed atmosphere.
After this apprenticeship
On successful completion of the Apprenticeship we would look to fully employ the candidate, as a Product Technician.
