Summary

The Apprentice will be key in the design of engine driven (FEAD) compressor mounting kits and accessories, and involvement in running a project from concept through to testing and manufacture, incorporating a high focus on quality and demonstrating this through approach to workload.

Monday - Friday. On work-place days: 8.30am - 5.00pm (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch). On college days: 9.00am - 4.00pm. Timetabling for college days will be confirmed prior to starting at college.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard qualification:

  • You will be learning the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to achieve the Prototype/Design pathway within course
  • This will be delivered as 3 days in college (during term-time) and then the remainder of the working week will be in the workplace
