What you will do in your working day

  • Promote and maintain a positive HSE culture
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organisation
  • Adhere to Company standards and procedures relating to PPE, dress code and personal hygiene ensuring working practices result in a safe and hygienic working environment
  • Ensure effective and relevant information is communicated to colleagues to eliminate misunderstandings and ensure good working relationships are maintained
  • Conduct handovers ensuring all relevant information is passed on and understood
  • To be an enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated and pro-active team member, committed to successfully achieving the goals and objectives of self, the Team and the Company, via a team working approach

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
  • Level 2 foundation competence training and Level 3 development knowledge training will take place at South West Durham Training on a day release model, to be determined

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • A full-time role within the site engineering department
