Summary
PK Stud is offering a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice groom to join a family-run business specialising in breeding and producing show jumpers with world-class bloodlines and abilities. We are successful show jumpers and have a small breeding programme with top-quality mares and stallions who have some of the best bloodlines in Europe.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You wil be working towards the Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship with your employer and the support of Haddon Training.
All training will be completed at the employers premises so you will not need to attend anywhere else.
If you do not have maths and English at Grade 4 or above, Haddon Training will support you in gaining Functional Skills qualifications in these subjects.

This role will require working in all weather conditions so any applicant must be willing and able to do this. There is no accommodation available on site, so any applicant must be able to reliably make their way to and from the yard each day.

After this apprenticeship
For the right candidate, there is the possibility to progress on to a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom Apprenticeship upon successful completion of the Level 2.
