What you will do in your working day

Main Duties:

• Assisting Engineering and Steam consultant

• Liasing with customers & Suppliers

• Formulating quotations

• Liasing & organising engineers

• Creating engineering P&ID and schematic drawings

• Input with H&S and its documentation.

The training you will be getting

  • The learner will be studying the Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
  • Day release to West Suffolk College.
  • Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Further qualifications within the steam industry. Full-time position within the company once apprenticeship is completed.

Things to consider

Based in the office but will also be working out on site with Steam Consultant. Some travelling required (in company vehicle). Unable to accept applicants under the age of 18 due to site restrictions and Health and Safety.
