What you will do in your working day

Welcoming garage guests and visitors

Answering and making calls on behalf of the garage

Handling office correspondence (digitally and paper)

Maintain the reception area

Acting as liaison between customers and mechanics

Ensuring tasks to maintain the workshop are undertaken

Observe GDPR, retention policies and health & safety work standards

Produce invoices and accept payments for customers

Maintain and update customer databases; ensuring all records are up to date.

Support marketing and advertising opportunities such as social media marketing, creating adverts and posts to build customer base

Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills

Things to consider

You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship. You will be required to attend an interview and assessment at Weymouth College prior to your application being passed on. If a suitable candidate is found prior to the advertised closing date, it may close early to avoid disappointment.

Located in the new development The Courtyard Business Centre in Weymouth. We are a highly qualified, trusted mechanic with extensively equipped garage services. Our fully equipped workshop is kitted out with the latest diagnostics software and top of the range tools and training. Experienced in multiple makes and models of vehicle we provide anything from pre-MOT checks to re-gassing air conditioning.
