What you will do in your working day

Our client is an independent leading property specialist who have been selling and renting properties across Northamptonshire for over 27 years. Having sold tens of thousands of properties locally, they have a real feel for their customers’ needs and current market trends within the area. Their services are differentiated by high standards of quality by using their in-house marketing department with professional photography, floor plans and brochures ensuring that each property stands out.

They are now looking for an eager and ambitious individual to join their accounts team.

Key responsibilities include:

·                Allocate rents each day then make payments to Landlords

·                Put on retainers and process amendments/refunds

·                Reconcile the rent account via ALTO (our CRM)

·                Process Agency Fees each day and add to Lettings banked income spreadsheet. 

·                Send Exchange invoices and process EPC receipts

·                Reconcile Lettings/FS bank accounts on Sage Accounts software.

·                Preparing Statistics at start of each month, simple data entry

·                Internal invoices and any invoices that need to be sent monthly

·                Printing all invoices received, coding then giving to Accounts Manager for approval. Then inputted onto Sage Accounts software

·                Process & Pay Part Time invoices

·                Year-End Filing, boxing up prior year invoices, accounts documents etc

·                Commission Statements for all companies

·                Process manual payments each Friday

Skills and experience required:

The successful candidate will need to have great organisational and team work skills. They must have good attention to detail and have a keen interest in finance.

This role will be supported by Starting Off's Level 3 AAT apprenticeship qualification and off-the-job training.
