What you will do in your working day

At Little Angels Nursery and Pre-School our aim is to provide a happy, loving and stimulating environment, where all children will be encouraged to develop intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically.

As our apprentice, you will be involved in all activities childcare related including the following:

  • Preparing food and feeding of both babies and children
  • Nappy changing
  • Setting up rooms for the day, including play activities etc
  • Completing reports for the day on children to feedback to parents
  • Completing all admin related to job role
  • Planning daily activities
  • Reading, singing, story telling etc.

The training you will be getting

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Angels Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

If successful, you will complete a level 3 early years educator apprenticeship programme, delivered through Little Angels Day Nurserys dedicated training provider, Realise. Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.
