What you will do in your working day

As a Paralegal Apprentice within our Real Estate team, you will provide support on a wide range of cases, whilst contributing to the ongoing growth of a firm that drives a culture of support.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • File creation and client care correspondence.
  • Obtaining title documents; and submitting searches and dealing with enquiries with supervision.
  • Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • Attending meetings and taking notes.
  • Producing first drafts of documents including contracts, transfer deeds and leases under supervision.
  • Carrying out research.
  • Preparing completion statements, accounts forms, invoices and understanding client ledgers.
  • File closing and managing deed storage.

The training you will be getting

Paralegal Apprenticeship Level 3

This is a 24-month programme and after successful completion, you will gain a recognised CILEx qualification and be ready to move into a Paralegal role within the firm. You will have off-the-job time dedicated to your study which will be delivered by an authorised training provider and all course and training fees will be paid by the firm.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Upon successful completion of the paralegal apprenticeship apprentices become CILEx Level 3 qualified paralegals and are ready to move into paralegal roles within the business.

Some may wish to continue their professional development through further study and may consider applying for the Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship.
