What you will do in your working day

  • Reviewing and assessing claims to determine their validity
  • Preparation of claim including relevant tax calculations
  • Liaising with clients to ensure we have all the information needed
  • Monitoring the progress of the claim and liaising with HMRC to ensure a successful and prompt outcome for the client
  • Contacting existing clients for repeat claims

The training you will be getting

Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • You will be working towards your Level 2 AAT qualification (an industry recognised Qualification) which are studied on a modular basis
  • This means that you will study one module of the curriculum at a time, so the qualification is broken down and easier to manage than an A-Level or degree
  • After each module, you will sit an exam (online) to ensure you have understood
  • Your study of each module will be self-led and online (no college).
  • We will provide you with an extensive portfolio of tools and resources to support your learning
  • Units that you will be studying include introduction to bookkeeping, ethical standards, general business, communication, bookkeeping controls, personal effectiveness, accounting systems & processes, synoptic assessment, principles of costing, and behaviours
