What you will do in your working day

  • Providing support
  • Providing care as detailed within the residents’ Care Plans
  • Serving meals and refreshments
  • Supporting the team
  • Understanding and listening to guidance
  • Completing mandatory training

The training you will be getting

  • Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 Diploma in Care
  • Guidance from the Performance Coach   
  • Attend specialist and skills training, method and location to be confirmed
  • Complete the functional skills qualifications in maths and English (if required)

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • The home fully supports the Apprenticeship Scheme and if shifts are available will encourage the individual to apply for a permanent position upon the successful completion of their apprenticeship

DBS checks will be required prior to employment. References will be required along with full employment history to date. Fairfield is based on the Banbury Road, there is a bus stop outside of the home.
