What you will do in your working day

  • Provide administration assistance to the tasks related to the post.
  • Support other members of the team to respond to queries via emails and telephone conversations.
  • Support time focused projects.
  • Ensure Contracts Database and Creditor Payments system is updated in a timely and accurate manner.

The training you will be getting

  • Upon successful completion, you will achieve a Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.
  • This will be delivered online and face to face at Bournemouth and Poole College.
  • Study time will be allocated to you as well as a dedicated mentor. You will have a dedicated mentor to support you through your apprenticeship, providing support and advice within the workplace, as well as helping you manage the balance of work and apprenticeship studies.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally and will be encouraged to attend our in-house training courses and shadow colleagues from other services.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • On achieving your qualification you will be eligible to apply for administration and financial vacancies within the Trust.
  • You may have the opportunity to apply for higher level apprenticeships that are suited to the role you apply for.
  • There may be further opportunities depending on your interests and strengths.
