What you will do in your working day

The key duties and responsibilities for this role are:

  • Responsible for the hello@ and students@ email inboxes and ensuring emails/requests from landlords and tenants are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Welcoming customers and dealing with enquiries in the Lettings Office
  • Accurately recording payments, action deposit returns and raise/amend rental charges if required
  • Adding, scanning and uploading documents onto the system
  • Create and send tenancy documents including contracts
  • Manage calendar including booking in moving in / check out appointments
  • Communicate with relevant departments to facilitate move ins / vacations and communicate with landlords / tenants relating to tenancy extensions
  • Chase outstanding paperwork
  • Book and conduct property viewings
  • Answering queries via email and telephone
  • Represent the company at external events eg. Freshers week, open days etc.
  • Advertising and assisting with marketing for our portfolio of properties
  • Running reports on tenancies and extracting data for the Lettings manager for Sales Analysis at the end of each week
  • Taking payment in the office for rent or other payment due

The training you will be getting

  • Full Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard - Level 3
  • On-the-job training to support job role/development
  • Employer will allocate dedicated training time for off-the-job training as required for the qualification
  • Functional Skills support - maths/English - if required
