What you will do in your working day

  • Answering the phone to customers and transferring calls
  • Reading CAD plans to generate quotes, producing quotes from query and converting into order, processing using Sage/Microsoft 365 software.
  • Emailing quotes and operational information to customers
  • Dealing with suppliers to discuss lead times, collating detail and information and looking at alternative products for customer orders.
  • Administrative support for the office and client managers
  • Job to evolve over time.

The training you will be getting

Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship standard:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive any additional training support and guidance required from their dedicated tutor
  • Attending weekly classes to achieve the Standard
  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • The successful candidate will be given the opportunity of full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
