What you will do in your working day

  • Answer telephone and direct calls as appropriate
  • Receive and respond to email messages
  • Maintain electronic filing system
  • Complete general administration tasks (including, filing, scanning, printing and binding)
  • Use standard Microsoft software mainly Excel, Word and Outlook to complete tasks
  • Accept and sort deliveries
  • Place orders with suppliers
  • Opportunity to be involved in marketing activities, such as posting on social media and writing blog posts
  • Maintain the smooth running of our office environment

The training you will be getting

  • An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence
  • You will be expected to work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator, with support from youremployer and the Chesterfield College Group
  • As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English
    Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There is also the possibility the role could lead to a permanent position following completion of the apprenticeship
