This is a 2-year apprenticeship with Midsummer Drylining, to earn a Cert HE in Quantity surveying with the prospect of continuing onto the top-up qualification to earn full BSc (Hons) degree. This role includes supporting the relevant team members with the financial management of construction projects from the initial concept through to completion.

What you will do in your working day

  • To support the commercial team in the management and reporting of the financial and contractual performance of construction projects
  • To liase with both contractors and suppliers to ensure both timely and cost effective completion of projects
  • To quantify the labour and materials required to complete projects and apply an accurate quote

  • Day-release delivery at Anglia Ruskin University's Peterborough Campus

About the employer

Midsummer Drylining quote for and complete the drylining package on new build housing sites for main housebuilders. This can range from small sites of 3 houses up to larger sites of 500+ houses. We supply the labour and materials to complete each site and manage the project fully from start to finish.
