Summary
This is an ideal opportunity which help candidates to start to build their future career in accounting through the apprenticeship programme. Duties will include; updating and reconciling nominal ledgers activities and transactions, maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers, setting up and updating cash flow report.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Setting up and updating cash flow report
- Agreed monthly reports
- Payroll Year End processing and reconciliation
- Printing of payslips
- Updating and reconciling nominal ledgers activities and transactions
- Dealing with bank postings

- Accounting/Finance Apprenticeship Level 2
- Apprentices without Level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and taken the test for level 2 prior to taking their end point assessment

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- Maths, English (grade 4-9)
