What you will do in your working day

  • Learn a range of skills, including the knowledge to lead and control fabrication processes, CNC machning, CNC profiling and finishing systems
  • Work across different departments in the engineering team
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • work with the project teams to support the manufacture of complex assemblies

The training you will be getting

  • Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering
  • Training will be one day per week - day release
  • Regular in-house training and development opportunities

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Once qualified there is the possibility of a permanent role in the Engineering team. If successful further development opportunites may be offered including study towards an Engineering Degree

Things to consider

Working environment is within a 33,000m3 dedicated production facility located on the banks of the River Tyne. Role will be in a mixture of production and office areas, rotating through teams to gain as much knowledge as possible. Engineering team mentor will be assigned to support you with the learning journey. Exciting role within a pivotal team.
