What you will do in your working day

This role includes daily tasks, completed in both the monring and afternoon:

  • General yard duties
  • Handling of racehorses
  • Grooming
  • Some riding work (depending on experience).

There will be opportunities to go racing and lead up at the races, as well as improve your riding with chances to ride out. .

The training you will be getting

All training will take place at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be carried out by Haddon Training

  • After completion, the right candidate can expect permenant employment and/or enrolment onto the Level 3 Equine Groom apprenticeship

Things to consider

Candidates must have previous equine experience. Unfortunately, livery for own horse and on-site accommodation for candidate are unavailable - but there is a rentable flat near-by.
