About the employer

Cottam Brush Ltd is a manufacturer and supplier of industrial brushes and brush solutions for a wide range of sectors. In summary, our business is split into 2 divisions, our catalogue products and our technical/custom products. The catalogue products are largely sourced from different parts of the world and stocked in our warehouse where we sell to distibutors and the general public. These products account for approximately half of our turnover. The other half of the business involves the design, manufacture and marketing of our more bespoke products which are all made at our premises in Hebburn. We collaborate with customers who have a requirement for a brush solution and our main task is to understand their needs, advise on what is possible and hopefully give them exactly what they want in terms of design, price and delivery. We currently turnover £2.5 million and employ 17 people in Hebburn and 2 people in China.
