What you will do in your working day

  • Initial consultations with clients
  • Washing, conditioning and applying treatments
  • Cutting hair using various techniques
  • Colouring hair using various techniques
  • Styling/finishing hair using various techniques
  • General housekeeping in the salon

The training you will be getting

  • You will achieve a Level 2 Hair Professional qualification upon completion
  • You will receive Functional Skills maths and English, if required
  • Training will take place one day a week at Strode College, Street
  • Strode College will be managing the applications for this vacancy

Things to consider

You must show a willingness to learn and a commitment to the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship itself will not begin until September, but the successful applicant will be offered part time shifts to settle into the salon over the summer period.
