What you will do in your working day

  • Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts (eg.g clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes)
  • Following checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are
    examined
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
  • Maintenance of electronic systems including on board entertainment
    systems
  • Completion of legible and accurate paperwork for customer and
    centre records
  • Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment

  • 3 year apprenticeship programme delivered over a number of block
    weeks at the Volkswagen Group state-of-the-art training centre in

  • Following the successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship,
    opportunites to progress further will be made available, including
    higher levels of training, up to Master Technician, as well as a variety
    of specialisms
