An exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join our team of qualified, experienced and professional electricians. You will be learning on the job and also attend Eastleigh College weekly on a block release basis. You will be working on both domestic and commercial installations to give you a broad understanding of the trade.

What you will do in your working day

The specific duties of the role are flexible and will change to meet the needs of the organisation but will include or be equivalent in nature to:

  • Work with experienced electricians on construction sites
  • Assist in setting out installation works, as directed by supervisor
  • Assist in carrying out installation wiring and fitting of installation equipment as instructed by supervisor
  • Receive on site training and be involved in a variety of electrical installation works, being supervised at all times

The training you will be getting

The apprentice will complete their training as a Level 3 qualified Electrician and receive a Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification.

The training will be weekly  block release (one week per month - to be confirmed) at Eastleigh College.
